Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Butter unsalted – ½ cup
  • Heavy cream – 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese freshly grated – 1 cup
  • Garlic minced – 2 cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: Chopped parsley

Instructions
 

Melt the Butter:

  • In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add Garlic:

  • Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to brown it, as it could make the sauce bitter.

Add Cream:

  • Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until it slightly thickens.

Incorporate Cheese:

  • Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

Season:

  • Add salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Tip: Freshly grated Parmesan is key for a creamy Alfredo sauce that doesn’t turn grainy.
