Butter
unsalted – ½ cup
Heavy cream – 1 cup
Parmesan cheese
freshly grated – 1 cup
Garlic
minced – 2 cloves
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish: Chopped parsley
Instructions
Melt the Butter:
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add Garlic:
Sauté the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Be careful not to brown it, as it could make the sauce bitter.
Add Cream:
Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until it slightly thickens.
Incorporate Cheese:
Slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Season:
Add salt and pepper to taste.

Tip: Freshly grated Parmesan is key for a creamy Alfredo sauce that doesn’t turn grainy.
