Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cumin, turmeric, and coriander powder.
Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves.
Gradually add water while mixing to form a thick batter. The consistency should be similar to pancake batter.
Step 2: Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Step 3: Fry the Kebabs
Using a spoon or your hands, drop small portions of batter into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking (about 3-4 minutes per batch).
Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
Serve hot with tamarind chutney, yogurt sauce, or a squeeze of lemon.
