Easy Banana Pancakes: Fluffy Homemade Breakfast

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium Ripe bananas the riper, the sweeter
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

Mash the Bananas

  • In a large bowl, mash 2 ripe bananas until smooth and creamy.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • Combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt in a separate bowl.

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • Add 1 cup of milk, 2 large eggs, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter or oil to the mashed bananas. Mix until smooth.

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined (do not overmix).

Preheat the Pan

  • Heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Cook the Pancakes

  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes until bubbles appear on the surface.
  • Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Keep pancakes warm in a low-temperature oven until ready to serve.
