  • Honey or Maple Syrup (Optional) Adds a touch of sweetness to complement the carrots’ natural flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Prepare Carrots: Wash and peel the carrots (optional), then slice them into uniform sizes to ensure even roasting.
  • Season: Toss the carrots in olive oil, salt, pepper, and your favorite seasonings. Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the carrots in a single layer on a lined baking sheet to prevent steaming.
  • Roast: Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the carrots are tender and slightly browned.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of sea salt for extra flavor.
