Ingredients
Fresh and Simple Ingredients
1cupfresh strawberrieshulled and halved
1cupfreshly squeezed lemon juiceabout 4–6 lemons
3/4cupgranulated sugaradjust to taste
5cupscold water
Ice cubesfor serving
Lemon and strawberry slicesfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Make the Strawberry Puree
Blend the strawberries with 1/2 cup of water until smooth. For a smoother texture, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional).
Step 2: Mix Lemon Juice and Sugar
In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. If needed, warm 1/2 cup of water slightly to help dissolve the sugar faster.
Step 3: Combine and Chill
Pour the strawberry puree into the pitcher. Add the remaining cold water and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness to your liking.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in your homemade strawberry lemonade, and garnish with lemon slices and strawberries.
Notes
Tip: If strawberries aren’t in season, you can use frozen strawberries — just thaw them before blending.
