Ingredients
  

  • Corn tortillas
  • Chili powder
  • Citric acid
  • Food coloring for the Zombie look
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika

Instructions
 

Prepare the Tortillas

  • Cut corn tortillas into triangular shapes, resembling Takis.

Heat the Oil

  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or pot to the correct frying temperature.

Fry the Chips

  • Carefully place the tortilla triangles into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Mix the Spice Coating

  • In a mixing bowl, combine chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Coat the Chips

  • While the chips are still warm, toss them in the spice mix until each chip is evenly coated.

Serve

  • Serve your homemade Zombie Takis immediately, or store them in an airtight container.
