2ozGinger Alechilled, or substitute apple cider (60ml)
1ozFresh Cranberry Juice100% pure, not cocktail mix (30ml)
1tspHoneyor maple syrup, adjust to taste (5ml)
4-5Ice Cubesfresh, preferably large cubes
1sliceFresh AppleGranny Smith or Honeycrisp, for garnish
3-4Fresh Cranberriesfor garnish
Instructions
Fill your cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add the thawed apple juice concentrate, ginger ale (or apple cider), fresh cranberry juice, and honey.
Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to properly blend the honey and chill all ingredients. The mixture should be well-combined and frothy.
Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a highball glass filled with fresh ice cubes. This removes any ice chips and ensures a smooth drink.
Garnish with a thin apple slice and 3-4 fresh cranberries. Thread the cranberries onto a cocktail pick if desired for an elegant presentation.
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. Stir gently before drinking to distribute the settled ingredients.
Notes
BATCH PREPARATION:
To make multiple servings, multiply all ingredients by the number of guests and mix in a large pitcher. Add ginger ale last to preserve carbonation.GARNISH TIPS:
For best visual appeal, cut apple slices just before serving to prevent browning. Dip apple slices in lemon juice if preparing ahead.SWEETNESS ADJUSTMENT:
Start with 1 teaspoon of honey and adjust to taste. Pure cranberry juice can be quite tart, so sweetener helps balance the flavor profile.STORAGE:
This drink is best served fresh. If making ahead, combine all ingredients except ginger ale and store in refrigerator for up to 4 hours. Add ginger ale just before serving.
